Core Principles
Honesty — All work shared, submitted, or discussed on Students Connect must be your own or properly credited. Plagiarism, misrepresentation, and contract cheating are strictly prohibited.
Fairness — Every student deserves an equal opportunity to learn and succeed. Do not share exam answers, graded assignments, or solutions to live assessments.
Respect — Treat fellow students, mentors, and educators with dignity. Harassment, bullying, and discrimination have no place here.
Responsibility — You are accountable for your actions. Report violations you witness and uphold the integrity of our academic community.
What's Encouraged
- Study groups and peer-to-peer learning in our virtual rooms
- Sharing your own original notes, study guides, and flashcards
- Discussing concepts, theories, and problem-solving approaches
- Peer review and constructive feedback on draft work
- Mentorship sessions focused on skill-building and career guidance
- Collaborative projects where collaboration is explicitly permitted by your institution
- Using AI tools (Study Buddy, Career Concierge) as learning aids — not to generate answers for submission
Prohibited Conduct
- Sharing answers to exams, quizzes, or live/active assignments from any institution
- Uploading copyrighted materials without permission (textbooks, test banks, paid resources)
- Selling or purchasing completed assignments, essays, or projects (contract cheating)
- Impersonating another student or falsely claiming credentials you haven't earned
- Using the platform to coordinate academic dishonesty (cheating rings, answer sharing)
- Posting content that violates your institution's academic honor code
- Harassing or threatening other members of the community
Reporting Violations
If you see content that violates this policy, please report it immediately. We review every report and take appropriate action — from content removal to permanent account suspension.
